For all of you who took the time to fill out and return the RSVP Volunteer Satisfaction Survey, we thank you! The answers to our questions help RSVP improve the volunteer experience as well as continue to provide a wide range of volunteer opportunities appealing to our ever-changing senior population. The following are a few of the comments we received:
If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for RSVP’s Constant Contact emails. They’re a great way of staying in touch as well as getting interesting and helpful information. If not on our list, please send an email to Terri at coordinator@rsvpsuffolk.org
All of us at RSVP would like to give a very “loud” shout out to our Senior Center Volunteers. These kind and active members of the seven centers that partner with RSVP not only enjoy the many fun and interesting activities provided, but also have signed up to volunteer helping the staff with daily events including joining the Welcoming Committee, assisting with programs and events, leading exercise classes, helping with lunch service, hospitality and much more. These wonderful senior centers include: Rainbow Senior Center in Lindenhurst, Spangle Drive Senior Center in North Babylon, Tanner Park Senior Center in Copiague, Huntington Senior Center, Wyandanch Senior Center, Riverhead Senior Center and Southampton Senior Center.
