They are looking for volunteers for community education and outreach, the Giving Closet/Community Pantry, Rape Crisis Counselor program, Elder Support program, Community Fundraising committee, Human Trafficking Survivor Advisory Board, Intimate Partner Violence Survivor Advisory Board, and Reception/Hopeline.

1 in 8 individuals have Alzheimer's disease or related dementias on Long Island. They need your help! There are ways for you to get involved and make a difference. Please consider joining their program as a community representative. Our community representatives help share their free programs and events with local communities. Be a support Group Facilitator in a safe, open environment where people share their feelings, thoughts, and experiences in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems of dementia. Or be a public speaker providing education programs to the community.

The Community Computer Connections Program needs new volunteers to deliver and install our refurbished computers and laptops to our veterans and individual clients. Also, because of the great demand, there is an urgent need for used laptop donations that are less than 5 years old. Please reach out to us at 631-979-9490 x13.
